My sessions are relaxed, natural and designed to capture real moments between you and your children. No awkward posing, just a walk in the park and beautiful photos you’ll keep forever.

Mini photo sessions take place in London and are designed especially for families, babies and young children. These outdoor mini sessions take place in beautiful London parks and are perfect for natural family photography.

Looking for something a little more tailored? I also offer family photography, maternity photography, pet photography, Christmas family photography and prom photography across London. If you'd like a mini session outside my usual local areas, just ask — travel expenses may apply.

Mini sessions are limited each season. Booking now for summer 2026 sessions. Flexible dates depending on the weather.

    Mini sessions in London are perfect for families who would like a few beautiful, natural photographs of their children without booking a full photoshoot. These short outdoor photography sessions are relaxed, child-led and take place in some of London’s most beautiful parks including Richmond, Clapham, Wimbledon and Wandsworth.

    Mini sessions are ideal for toddlers, babies who are sitting, siblings and child modelling portfolio updates. Sessions last 30 minutes and include a small selection of professionally edited digital images, with the option to purchase more if you wish.

    If you are looking for a children’s photographer in London and would like natural, outdoor family photographs at an affordable price, mini sessions are a lovely way to capture this stage while children are little.

    It's a short outdoor photography session (weather permitting!).

    What happens if it rains?

    Ah, UK weather! Mini sessions are flexible and if the weather isn’t suitable, the session can be rescheduled to another date. I always keep an eye on the forecast and will be in touch the day before if we need to move the session.

    Where are mini sessions in London?

    Local areas include Richmond, Wandsworth, Clapham, Chelsea and Balham.

    Are you DBS checked?

    Yes. Twiggles is DBS checked and experienced working with babies, toddlers and young children.

    Are mini sessions suitable for toddlers?

    Absolutely. All young ages are welcome. They're also ideal for updating child modelling portfolios.

    What if my child doesn’t cooperate?

    That’s completely normal. Sessions are relaxed, unpressured and child-led, so we work at your child's pace to capture natural smiles and genuine moments.

    What should we wear?

    Simple, comfortable clothing in seasonal colours and soft, neutral tones photographs beautifully. Avoid large logos or bright graphics where possible. Once booked, you'll receive a short guide with outfit tips and advice on coordinating siblings.

    How long is a mini session?

    Each mini session lasts approximately 30 minutes.

    What should I expect from a mini session?

    Mini sessions are designed to be simple, relaxed and enjoyable. Before your session, you'll receive information about the location, what to wear and what to expect. On the day, there's plenty of time for children to settle naturally, with no pressure to pose.

    When will I receive my photos?

    Your proof gallery is usually sent within 24 hours. Once you've made your selections, your professionally edited images are delivered within two days via a secure, password-protected online gallery.

    Can I buy additional photos?

    Yes. Five edited images are included with your mini session, and additional edited photographs are available for £10 each.
