Twiggles studied photography and the physics of “drawing with light” as a teenager. Although her early career moved into TV and broadcast, the creative direction was already clear.

While studying, she became Kodak’s youngest photo lab manager in the UK, developing a deep technical understanding of image-making and shooting thousands of images on 35mm film — documenting everyday life through the late 90s and early 2000s.

In 2022, she held her first exhibition in Soho, London, marking a shift into full-time photography and building a body of work rooted in real moments and human connection.

Today, Twiggles works across event photography in London, private celebrations and portraits, with a calm, documentary-led approach she calls “friend photography” — capturing people as they naturally are.

Her work moves between corporate events, nightlife, private celebrations and portraiture, focusing on energy, atmosphere and genuine connection.

Clients range from international DJs and creatives to brands and private clients — including Peggy Gou, Alan Carr and HRH Queen Camilla.

Alongside her commercial work, Twiggles is an exhibiting artist, with two solo exhibitions and finalist recognition at the Saatchi Gallery.

She also hosts Lounge Lizards, a talk series exploring photography, culture and entrepreneurship, and has spoken at The Royal Society of Arts on Artificial Intelligence and its impact on photography.
