These outdoor mini sessions take place in beautiful London parks and are perfect for natural family photography. Mini sessions are limited each season. Booking now for April & May sessions. Mini sessions in London are perfect for families who would like a few beautiful, natural photographs of their children without booking a full photoshoot. These short outdoor photography sessions are relaxed, child-led and take place in some of London’s most beautiful parks including Richmond, Clapham, Wandsworth and Chelsea.

Mini sessions are ideal for toddlers, babies who are sitting, siblings and child modelling portfolio updates. Sessions last 30 minutes and include a small selection of professionally edited digital images, with the option to purchase more if you wish.

If you are looking for a children’s photographer in London and would like natural, outdoor family photographs at an affordable price, mini sessions are a lovely way to capture this stage while children are little.

What is a mini session?

It's a short outdoor photography session (weather permitting!).

What happens if it rains?

Ah, UK weather! Mini sessions are flexible and if the weather isn’t suitable, the session can be rescheduled to another date. I always keep an eye on the forecast and will be in touch the day before if we need to move the session.

Where are mini sessions in London?

Local areas include Richmond, Wandsworth, Clapham, Chelsea and Balham.

Are you DBS checked?

Yes, Twiggles is DBS checked and experienced working with babies, toddlers and young children.

Are mini sessions suitable for toddlers?

All young ages welcome. Ideal for child modelling photo updates too.

What if my child doesn’t cooperate?

That’s completely normal — sessions are relaxed and unpressured, and we work around the child.

What should we wear?

Colours and tones that suit the season. Simple, comfortable clothing works best for mini sessions. Neutral colours, soft textures and outfits that children can move and play in are ideal. Avoid large logos or bright graphics where possible. Once booked, Twiggles will send a short guide with tips on what photographs beautifully and how to coordinate outfits if you are bringing siblings.

30 minutes.

What to expect from a mini session?

Mini sessions are designed to be simple and enjoyable. After booking, you will receive a short guide with location details, what to wear, and what to expect on the day. Sessions are relaxed and child-led, with plenty of time for children to settle into the environment.

When will I receive my photos?

Options are sent within 24 hours and selected photos delivered within 2 days by password protected electronic delivery. After the session, you will also have the option to purchase additional images if you wish.

Can I buy additional photos?

5 images are included. Additional edited photos are £10 each.
